Music is an important part of the Sacrament of Matrimony and adds to the solemnity of this important day in your lives. The music, because it takes place within the liturgy, must be suitable for use in the Catholic Church. The music for your wedding liturgy should augment the prayerful nature of this sacrament and should not be viewed as entertainment. Therefore, no secular music is permitted.
